GFC Training options for the 2024 season:
It is strongly recommended that the whole team train together at least once per week (twice is even better though!). Your coach and/or manager will lead a discussion to determine the training regime that best suits your team.
Team training options are one or both of the following:
1. Parent/Community Coach runs a session organised at a time that suits your team, typically on a Sunday, but other times might also be possible. These sessions are typically focused on improving game day team work and cohesion. Grounds are available for coaches and managers to book via our website.
2. XLR8 is our primary coaching provider and sessions are run on Tuesday/Wednesday – these are largely focused on technical skills
All players are welcome to sign up to XLR8, regardless of what option is chosen for team training.
Additional Training Option:
3. Vision Football – accelerated training program for advanced and committed players looking to stretch their capability. Read about our new program with Vision Football
Our coaching coordinator, Dave Stone, is happy to assist with discussions regarding any of the above options. He can be contacted on coaching@gordonfc.com.au
